Clothing for a Good Life: Ramblers Way



Ramblers Way is an American-made sustainable clothing company. The company has been established since 2009.  Founder, Tom Chappell and his son went for a 2-week hike across the rolling pastures and steep Hills of Wales when the idea of the company all started.

On November 22, 2016, Ramblers Way announced an extensive re-brand across the company, along with the new tagline, ‘Clothing for a Good Life’. Ramblers Way’s new brand embraces their commitment to protect the planet, support local economies and builds it business on lifelong values.

Founder, Tom Chappell, is a sustainble pioneer and former owner of Tom’s of Maine. Ramblers Way offers premium Rambouillet Merino wool and Pima cotton clothing lines to both men and women who are looking for sustainable alternative. The company strives for the clothing to be worn comfortably both in the office and in nature.

They are also announced on Nov. 22, 2016, that they are collaborating with Freedom Design Group to help their team execute its vision for sustainable clothing. The current leaders, Dominic D’Alessandro and Michael Boyle, for Freedom Design Group formally worked with UGG, Columbia Sportswear and Timberland, will create a new collection of all-season essentials made from Pima cotton and Rambouillet Merino wool.


“Dom and Michael bring deep apparel industry expertise to our team, which, combined with our ethos and outlook, will usher in an exciting new phase for Ramblers Way,” Chappell added. Another statement given in the Sustainable Brands article.
